Vendakka Stew Recipe
Ingredients:
- Tender ladies finger - 20 nos
- Onion - 1 no
- Potato - 1 no
- Green chilly - 4 nos
- Tomato - 1 nos
- Ginger - 1 small piece
- Pepper - 1 tsp
- Garlic - 5 pods
- Garam masala powder - 1/2 tsp
- Coconut milk - 1/2 cup
- Curry leaves - 1 stem
- Salt - as required
Preparation:
- Cut ladies finger in 1 inch pieces and chop onions lengthwise.
- Half cook separately ladies finger and onion.
- Pressure cook the potato.
- Add green chilly split in two, chopped ginger, chopped garlic, masala powder, pepper powder and cook till the vegetables get cooked.
- Add the ladies finger, onion and salt.
- Add the coconut milk and curry leaves and remove from fire when it gets thickened.
