Vellarikka Stew Recipe
Ingredients:
- Vellarikka - 1 medium size
- Flour - 2 tbsp
- Pepper powder - 1 tsp
- Soup (Vegetable/meat) - 1 cup
- Ghee - 2 tblsp
- Butter - 1 tsp
- Salt - to taste
Preparation:
- Peel cucumber and cut into small pieces.
- Heat butter and fry the cucumber pieces until it becomes red.
- In another pan, heat ghee and add flour, pepper powder and salt as required and sauté.
- Add soup to this , mix well and bring it to boil.
- Add the cucumber pieces and remove from fire.
- Serve hot with rice.
