Tomato Curry Recipe
Ingredients:
- Tomato - 3 nos
- Turmeric powder - 1/2 tsp
- Chilly powder - 1/2 tsp
- Coconut (grated) - 1/2 cup
- Red onion - 2 nos
- Vegetable oil - 2 tsp
- Mustard seeds - 1/4 tsp
- Curry leaves - 10 leaves
- Salt - to taste
- Water - 1/2 cup
Preparation:
- Place tomatoes in a vessel along with turmeric powder, chilly powder, salt and water.
- Boil it on a low flame for about 3 - 4 mins or until the tomatoes get mashed well.
- Grind together coconut and small onions along with 1/2 cup of water.
- Add it to the tomato gravy.
- Allow it to boil for 2 mins.
- Heat oil in a small pan.
- Splutter mustard seeds.
- Add curry leaves and saute for a while.
- Pour it into the tomato gravy and mix well.
