Rasam Recipe
Ingredients:
- Tomato - 3 nos (medium)
- Chilly powder - ½ tsp
- Coriander powder - 1 tsp
- Pepper powder - 1½ tsp
- Turmeric powder - ½ tsp
- Garlic - 4 nos
- Coconut oil - 1 tbsp
- Dry red chilly - 2 nos
- Mustard seeds - ½ tsp
- Curry leaves - 1 stem
- Coriander leaves - ½ cup
- Salt - As required
- Asafoetida (Kayam) - ½ tsp
Preparation:
- Cut tomatoes to small pieces, add water and bring to boil.
- To this add all the powders and garlic and bring to boil.
- Splutter mustard seeds in oil, add dry red chilly and curry leaves. Add boiled rasam.
- Add coriander leaves and serve.
