Roti Recipes

Chapati Recipe

Ingredients:

  • Wheat flour - 1 cup
  • Salt - 1/2 tsp (optional)
  • Ghee - 1 tsp
  • Warm water


Preparation:

  1. Prepare dough by mixing together cup of water with 1 tsp salt, 1 tsp ghee and just enough wheat flour. Knead well.
  2. Keep aside for about 45 mins.
  3. Take some dough and make small balls - size half of tennis balls.
  4. Dust with wheat flour.
  5. Roll into chapatis on a rolling board.
  6. Ready the chapati tawa and keep on flame.
  7. Roast both sides of chapati on the tawa moderately.
  8. Ready to serve.
  9. Add ghee on top of chapati if needed.
