Dry Mango Pickle Recipe
Ingredients:
- Mango - 1 no
- Red chilly powder - 1 tbsp
- Mustard seeds - 1 tsp
- Fenugreek powder - 1 tsp
- Asafoetida powder - a pinch
- Sesame oil - 4 tbsp
- Salt - as needed
Preparation:
- Wash and clean the mango and cut it into small pieces.
- Sprinkle a lot of salt and leave it overnight.
- Heat oil in a pan. Add mustard seeds and fenugreek powder.
- When it starts to splutter, add chilly powder and asafoetida and stir well.
- Add the mango pieces and stir well. Remove from fire.
- Store in clean, dry air tight containers for future use.
