Chilli Mutton Masala Recipe
Ingredients:
- Mutton (cut into small pieces) - 500gm
- Onion (chopped) - 1 medium
- Plain yogurt - 1/4 Cup
- Ginger (finely chopped) - 1 inch
- Garlic (crushed) - 3 Cloves
- Coriander powder - 1 1/2 tsp
- Mustard seeds - 1 tsp
- Cumin powder - 1 1/2 tsp
- Chilli powder - 1 tsp
- Turmeric powder - 1 tsp
- Salt - to taste
- Coconut oil - 1/2 tsp
Preparation:
- Heat the oil in a and fry onion over medium flame, stirring well until it becomes soft.
- Add mutton meat, coriander, mustard seeds, cumin, chili powder and turmeric and mix them well.
- Add little yogurt and cook over high heat, stirring the meat until all the yogurt is absorbed.
- Pour little yogurt again, stir and make it dry. Repeat the process.
- Add chopped ginger and garlic. Add enough water to cover the meat and boil.
- Cover the vessel and heat in low flame until the meat is cooked.
- Remove the lid and cook the stew over high heat to evaporate excess liquid.
- Add enough salt and serve.
