Sweet Fruit Pudding
Ingredients:
- Milk - 1 lit
- Condensed Milk - 1 tin
- Sugar - ¾ cup
- China grass - 10 gm
- Water - ¾ cup
- Vanilla essence - ½ tsp
- Ripe mangoes finely chopped - ¼ cup
- Apple finely chopped - ¼ cup
- Pineapple cooked and finely chopped - ¼ cup
- Cashew nuts - ¼ cup
- Orange jelly - 1 packet
- Sugar - 1 tbsp
- Water - 2 ½ cups
Preparation:
- Add sugar to milk and boil in a thick bottom vessel.
- In another vessel soak the china grass in water for 5 minutes.
- Melt it to a liquid form. When milk boils, add the condensed milk and boil once again and remove from flame.
- Mix it with the china grass and essence.
- When this pudding is almost set, spread the chopped fruits and broken cashews.
- Put the jelly powder into a dish. Add sugar and 1 ½ cup boiled water and mix.
- To this add 1 cup water (not boiled) and mix well.
- Pour this jelly mixture over the spread fruits and place it in refrigerator to cool.
- Serve it cool
