Christmas Recipe

 
CHICKEN ROAST


Ingredients

• Chicken - 1 kg (cut into pieces)
• Chilli powder - 2 tbspoon
• Coriander powder - 1 tspoon
• Chicken masala - 2 tbspoon
• Turmeric powder - ¼ tspoon
• Onion - 4 nos
• Ginger - 1 tbspoon
• Garlic - 1 tbspoon
• Salt - to taste
• Coconut oil - 2 tbspoon
• Coriander leaves - 1 stem
• Curry leaves - 1 stem

Method

Marinate chicken with 1 tbs chilli powder, ½ tsp coriander powder, 1 tbschicken masala, Turmeric powder, ginger garlic paste, Curry leaves and salt and keep it for half an hour. Cook it in a pressure cooker for 2 whistles.

Fry the cooked chicken pieces.

Fry sliced onions and add the remaining quantities of chilli powder, coriander powder and masala powder and fry for little time. Add the cooked chicken to it and mix it thoroughly.


NORTH INDIAN CHICKEN MASALA

Ingredients

• Chicken - ½ kg (cut into pieces)
• Chilli powder - 2 tbspoon
• Coriander powder - 1 tspoon
• Turmeric powder - ¼ tspoon
• Chicken masala - 1 tbspoon
• Cloves - 2 nos
• Cinnamon - 2 nos
• Jeera - 1 tspoon
• Onion - 1 nos
• Tomato - 1 no (cut into small pieces)
• Ginger - 1 tbspoon
• Garlic - 1 tbspoon
• Curd - ¾ cup
• Salt - to taste
• Coriander leaves - 1 stem
• Coconut oil - 2 tbspoon
• Butter - 1 tbspoon

Method

Fry the sliced onion till brown colour. In a frying bowl, fry ginger garlic paste, then add jeera, cinnamon and cloves. To the fried items, add chilli powder, coriander powder, turmeric powder and masala powder and fry. To this add the curd and stir well. To this add chicken pieces, coriander leaves and salt and cook in low flame.

Fry the sliced tomato in butter and add to the cooked chicken. Also add the fried onion and mix well. Serve it
